A CURATED LIFE [quarter 1]

currently

working on my 2022 and 2019 family books. More on that later.

reading Two Weeks Notice by Amy Porterfield and The Ones We Choose by Julie Clark. I read Share Your Stuff, I'll Go First by Laura Tremaine and Everything is Figureoutable by Marie Forleo. I love listening to audiobooks for the non-fiction/personal development genre especially when they are read by the author. I cannot wait to get my hands on Laura Tremaine's new book The Life Council: 10 Friends Every Woman Needs

reminiscing a girl's trip to Sedona. I spent a few days in Sedona with two friends, one of which is out of town; it was as lovely as you would imagine. We ate great food, had amazing conversations, walked the town, shopped, and hiked. While hiking we took a break and read on top of the mountain with the most beautiful views and sounds (flute in the background) This girl's trip was just what I needed, I hadn't been away from my babies for that long and it was SO good. We have decided to make this an annual thing which just makes me giddy and now I need to catch up to their reading speed so that we can ALL read the same book at the same time.

recovering from finishing the yearbook at the last minute. 3 of my students worked so very hard to complete the book because their other classmates never did their work. This will be my last year as a yearbook adviser and it is bittersweet. I love teaching yearbook, but time with my family is more important.

enjoying time with my family. The past three months have been a whirlwind! But we are coming out of it at a slower pace which I am enjoying. Over the last 3 months, we celebrated our 6th anniversary (yes, 6th I'm pretty sure), went to our first friend's birthday party at Peter Piper, Flagstaff for playing in the snow, R started soccer, went to daddy's football practices (he's an O-line coach), R started musical theater for the spring, we've made crafts, out to dinner with my dad's parents, picked oranges at great grandparent's house, children's museum, J started crawling (that's been fun), C has helped plant things and loves digging in the dirt, C has also increased his vocab all of a sudden!

All have been caught on my 1 Second Everyday app and are documented in Chatbooks!
